James has always had a passion for health and fitness, so a career in Physiotherapy was the perfect fit.

He qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University West of England in 2008, and over the past 16 years, has developed a wealth of knowledge, with a strong focus in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He continues to learn new techniques and is always researching the latest methods to bring about optimal recovery/healing.

He began his career within the NHS’ Orthopaedic and Outpatient Departments but after his increasing potential was seen, he was asked to transition to private practice where he gained 14 years of valuable of knowledge and expertise. He became a director and assisted in setting up a successful private practice in the UK which continues to thrive.

He brings to the table extensive experience working with a variety of well known Hollywood and West End clients including Vanessa Williams, Carlos Acosta and Robbie Fairchild. He has also worked with elite British athletes and body builders. He is keen to apply the skill set he has developed during his career to the variety of patients we see in our clinic. He relishes the challenge of finding the root cause of his patients’ problem and then being able to develop a custom treatment program that is built upon each patient’s unique needs.

James applies a hands on approach to treatment and is trained and certified in dry needling, acupuncture, spinal mobilisations/manipulations, shockwave therapy, massage, and exercise prescription. He is also experienced in vocal massage and hydrotherapy. As well as hands on treatment, he has a particular interest in intensive rehabilitation and enjoys creating individualized programmes for optimized patient development.

Outside of work, James is an avid sportsman and has even represented West England on the water polo team! He was also asked to trial for Great Britain. He enjoys swimming, surfing, and generally being in the great outdoors.

James and his young family have now decided that it is time for a new type of challenge and life experience. This has led to him deciding to continue his profession career in the Cayman Islands. Jen qualified as a physiotherapist with first class honors in 2012 at Salford University, England. She then elected to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Allied Health at Keele University alongside NHS Junior rotations in all key clinical areas.

She progressed to work at a senior level in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological therapy services, completing her senior II rotations and training. She then worked as an Advanced Physiotherapist for two years, managing large teams and multiple services.

Thought her career, she has found interest in treating some of the more challenging cases, with a passion for complex care planning, management of long term conditions and patient centered care. She studied clinical research at Masters level at Keele University and her clinical treatment is always informed by evidence based practice. J en has extensive experience in treating connective tissue disorders, especially hypermobility conditions. She is also deeply interested in persistent (chronic) pain management. In addition to her musculoskeletal skills Jen also has wide ranging experience of vestibular, neurological and spinal rehabilitation for both adults and children.

During her time in cayman she has worked closely with the local community, creating strong links with government health facilities and specialist physicians. During 2020, whilst the island was still locked down to visitors, Jen pioneered a specialist outreach service for the people of Cayman Brac, at some times travelling over multiple days per week in order to provide quality therapy services. She has lived on Cayman since 2017 and founded Physio Worx in 2023 after identifying the need for a bespoke clinic focused on accessibility, patient centered care and quality evidence based rehabilitation.

As clinical manager and lead physiotherapist, Jen’s vision is to offer a welcoming, quality and accessible service for the people of the Cayman Islands. She advocates for therapy led clinical services, focused on offering transparent, ethical treatment plans which prioritize the individual and not the insurance plan. Nikita Mantri is a physiotherapist with a focused expertise in cardiovascular and respiratory physiotherapy. Jack Mills is a UK-qualified Occupational Therapist specializing in adult rehabilitation and hand therapy, with experience across both NHS and private practice. He previously worked within Pennine NHS Trust, delivering care across hospital services, specialist rehabilitation pathways, and community teams. Jack is also certified with the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT), reflecting his advanced skills and commitment to high clinical standards in hand therapy.

Jack has extensive experience supporting adults recovering from a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, including stroke, orthopedic and general surgery, cardiac events, and physical trauma.
